Templates menu

The Templates menu displays a list of files that you can open as templates.

Using templates

To work more efficiently and avoid mistakes, you can create templates for documents that share common settings. You can then use these templates as defaults for creating new documents.

When you open a template, an untitled copy of the template document appears.

Setting up

To start using templates, make sure that the FinLease folder contains either a folder named "Templates", or an alias named "Templates" which points to a folder on your hard disk.

FinLease automatically lists all Finlease documents it finds in the Templates folder, or, in the folder that the Templates alias points to.

Creating and editing a template

To create or edit a template, simply save or copy a FinLease document into the Templates folder.
