Periods and Days
The Periods and Days calculation lets you calculate the number of full periods and the number of stub days between two calendar dates for a given interval.
The number of full periods is calculated by going from the second date back to the first date in steps that are the size of a period. If the second date falls on the last day of the month, then all preceding periods are assumed to also end on the last day of the month.
Any remaining days are counted as stub days.
