Probability
The probability calculation lets you calculate the probability of survival or death of a person based on a given life table.
Note: The life expectancy
at a given age can be looked up in the ex column of the life
table.
To open a life
table and view its data, select Life Tables from the File menu, then select
the desired life table in the Life table pop-up menu.

Examples
| | Find the probability that John aged 30 will survive to ages 60 and 65.
Answer: there is a 87.1648 % probability that John survives to age 60 and a 80.8848 % probability that he will survive to age 65. |
