I have entered values but nothing happens. Why?
Problem
You've entered data into fields, but the program doesn't calculate.
Answer
Since FinFlow features auto-calculation, it waits for the user to enter valid data before it starts to calculate.
To help you determine which fields require input, FinFlow displays these fields with a yellow background.
To be able to calculate, the input data also need to be within range. An easy way to see what values a field accepts is to let the cursor hover briefly over a field: a Help tag will appear, indicating the range of values that the field considers valid.
When the input data is out of range, the field will be displayed with an orange background.
When the input data is within range, the field will be displayed with an white background.
A special case are dates: dates always need to be entered with four digits for the year, e.g. "11/1/2004".
